What have I done to deserve this?

Any time I pull myself out of the ocean of my tears / Allowing myself to breathe / You stand firm / Right in front of me / And without a second glance / You plant your hand in my chest / Shoving me back into the water / Uncalled for / Being dragged under by the tide / No longer allowed air Into my lungs / Without the consequence / Of my blood rushing / Without the consequence of my heart pulsing / Without the consequence / Of my eyes being bloodshot/ Without the consequence / Of me trying to scream underwater / Without the consequence / Of my throat being filled with liquid / Without the consequence / Of suffocation / Without the consequence / Of my life flashing before my eyes

I see the three of you standing over me / Laughing / Coughing my lungs out / Weeping on the floor / I see you / Anxiety / Stress / Depression / You know me well / We’ve been through this before / You watch me as I fight with the tide / Trying to survive / But we both know that I’m going to end up back here / Again / Because you enjoy watching me struggle / Seeing me in pain / It's how you control me / You’d rather have my blood on your hands / Then to set me free
